"Fun for a bit, but feels kind of cheap"
It was fun when we first opened it, and it still works fine, so I can’t really complain too much. The quality just feels a little cheaper than I expected, like it might not hold up as well over time, but I guess for the price it’s... okay. Not the best toy, but not terrible either.

"Refund was sorted quicker than I expected"
I had to send an item back, mainly because I’d picked the wrong one in the first place, so that was on me. I was expecting the refund to take ages, but it showed up in my account much faster than I thought it would. The emails were straightforward and there wasn’t any hassle. it made the whole thing painless, and I’d be happy to use Smyths again.

"Really quick delivery"
I ordered a toy late in the evening and it still turned up much quicker than I thought it would. I got updates along the way, and the parcel arrived in good condition. Based on this order, it seems like Smyths are reliable with delivery. no complaints at all, it was fast and straightforward, and I’d use them again.

I ordered from Smyths Toys and, the delivery tracking was really handy. It updated when I expected it to, and I could see when the parcel was getting close, which was great.
The driver turned up in the time slot shown and everything arrived fine. So, yeah, no messing about at all... I’d definitely use them again.

"Deals were okay, but not amazing"
I did save a little with some of the deals, so that was nice. But the discounts weren’t as big as I expected, and overall it just felt...

"Easy click and collect, but the wait was annoying"
Click and collect was straightforward and easy to use, but I did get a bit frustrated waiting around for my order to be ready. Once it came through, pickup was simple enough.

"So much to choose from for the kids"
I always seem to find what I need on Smyths, especially when one of the kids has a birthday coming up and I’ve left it a bit later than planned, which happens more often than I’d like to admit. There’s loads to pick from, Lego, bikes, baby bits, all sorts really. I went on for one thing the other day and somehow ended up looking at outdoor toys too, even though the garden still needs sorting after the weekend. The website is easy enough to use and I like that the stock is usually clear, so you’re not getting your hopes up over something that isn’t actually available.

The staff in the store were actually really helpful and quick. I only had to wait a little bit at the till, but overall it was a good experience.

"Slow help with a missing item"
Ordered from Smyths online. One part of my delivery just didn’t turn up. Annoying straight away.
I tried their online customer service first. Took ages to get a proper reply. And when they did answer, it felt like they hadn’t really read my message. Just basic copied info back.
It was sorted in the end. But I had to chase more than once. Not the worst experience ever, but still frustrating. Expected better.

"Decent visit, but could do with a tidy-up"
I popped into Smyths Toys at the weekend and it was fine overall. The staff seemed friendly enough and there was plenty on the shelves, so I can’t really complain too much, can I?
The only thing that stood out was that the store didn’t feel as clean as it could’ve been. There was a bit of mess around the toy aisles and some bits on the floor, probably because it was busy, but still, who wants to be dodging clutter while shopping? I’d go back, but hopefully it’s a bit tidier next time.

"On-time delivery, but the packaging could be better"
My order showed up right on time, which was great. I did notice the box was a little crushed and seemed way bigger than the toy inside, which usually makes me wonder if that’s why things get banged around during shipping. Thankfully nothing was broken, but the packaging felt a bit random. I’d feel better if it was packed more snugly next time.

"Stock info was actually accurate"
I checked online before heading to the shop, and it said the toy was in stock. When I got there, it was actually on the shelf (always a nice surprise). Saved me from making a wasted trip, so I was really happy with that.

"At first I was annoyed..."
At first I was annoyed because the return process felt like it was dragging on forever. Then I got hopeful when they confirmed everything was received, but the refund still took longer than I expected. It did come through in the end, so I’m relieved, but yeah, the waiting part was frustrating.

"Delivery was bang on time"
I ordered a Lego set on Monday night and just went with standard delivery, so I wasn’t expecting it to arrive that quickly.
I got the tracking emails through, and the parcel turned up Wednesday morning exactly when it said it would. The box was in good condition too, no dents or any hassle.
I’ve used Smyths a few times now and the delivery has been really reliable. I think other customers would appreciate that as well, especially when you’ve got kids asking every five minutes when it’s coming.

"I had to exchange a toy because..."
I had to exchange a toy because it turned out to be the wrong one, and I was already expecting it to be annoying. But then my mood totally changed once I got there. The staff handled it super quickly, didn’t make it awkward at all, and I was in and out in just a few minutes. Really happy with how easy it was.

"A quick toy run that went exactly to plan"
I needed to pick up a toy from Smyths and expected the usual bit of faffing around, but it was surprisingly smooth from start to finish. I found what I wanted on the website quickly, paid without any hassle, and got the confirmation saying when it would be ready. When I went into the store, it was actually ready just like they said, and the staff were friendly and helpful. In and out with no stress at all. I’d definitely use them again.

I ordered a few toys online from Smyths and, to be fair, everything arrived exactly as I’d picked it. No wrong items, nothing missing, and even the colours were right, which I’d been a bit unsure about. The box was packed fine and it all matched the confirmation email. It was a smooth order overall, but I’ll admit I don’t fully trust online orders like I used to, so I was checking everything carefully. Happy this one went easily.
